Currently, I am working on my Master's Degree in Rehabilitative Science

A little about my background:
I am happily married to a baseball coach, and a mother of two. I began taking yoga teacher training classes in hopes to find a new hobby and I ended up losing over 50 lbs, fell in love with health and fitness, and found my new passion/career.  I moved on to obtaining a personal training certification and various specializations.   Soon, I worked with clients with physical limitations, weight loss goals, and athletes who wanted to improve their performance and wanted quality assistance after recovering from an injury.  I loved watching the excitement from people as they started to feel better and perform better!  The happiness and excitement they conveyed, made me realize this is what I want to do with my life. In my youth, I was a gymnast and a cross country runner.  I rediscovered my love for distance running as an adult, and my favorite races include half-marathons, trail running, Ragnar Relays, and Ultra marathons (yes, 30+ miles).

"I have been taking Anna’s classes for about 2 years now. Her classes are very different to anything else I’ve tried, and it works for me. I have a few (quite a lot!) of physical issues /old injuries, including nerve damage in my legs that results in a mild loss of motor control and range of motion. Her background in yoga and certification through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) is a huge benefit for me - after one particular session, I regained some sensation in my foot, which had been absent for over 30 years! 

 

She deals with a huge range of abilities, from raw beginner to very experienced, and yet she manages to challenge everyone in the group, moving seamlessly between yoga instructor and personal trainer. A phrase that she uses almost constantly  is ”...and if you want to push yourself a little more...”.
